The Seven Sprite is a Legendary companion released in the v41.20 update on July 16, 2026, and it is an information tool more than a stat stick: while equipped, enemy player foot trails become visible in the world for you and your whole squad. In a game where knowing where opponents came from and where they are headed decides fights before they start, that is standing wallhack-lite intel with no activation required.
The name nods to The Seven, the masked organisation at the heart of Fortnite's storyline, and the design leans into that lore. Summoning it from your collection costs 5,000 Sprite Dust, the standard Legendary price.
How to Get the Seven Sprite
Like every companion in the pool, the Seven Sprite comes from Sprite Chests first and foremost, with regular chests and Rare Chests as secondary sources. Legendary Sprites are meaningfully rarer than Rare and Epic staples — the Seven Sprite's base drop rate is 3.63%, with special variants from 0.85% (Holofoil) down to 0.17% (Galaxy) — so expect a hunt for the finishes. Extraction rules apply as always: bank it at an Extraction Site, with a Portable Extractor, or by winning the match, or the find does not count.
All Seven Sprite Variants
The Seven Sprite launched with five collectable finishes: Normal, Gold (3x bonus Sprite XP from eliminations), Gummy (+20% Sprite Dust on extraction), Galaxy (+30% ammo on pickup), and a day-one Holofoil that gives your whole squad a 5% chance to find rare Sprites from containers. Gem, Cube, and Quack versions are datamined but unreleased.
Five live rows make this one of the bigger single-Sprite additions to the checklist, and the Legendary rarity means each variant pull is a real event.
Is the Seven Sprite Worth Chasing?
In squads, yes — emphatically. Foot-trail intel scales with coordination: a full team that can read trails together turns every third-party attempt into an ambush. In solos it is still useful for tracking rotations and avoiding surprises, though aggressive players may prefer a combat passive. As a first impression it opens in A tier for squad play, and its value only grows in end-game circles where knowing who walked where matters most.
Track Your Seven Sprite Collection
Log every Seven Sprite finish you extract on the Sprite Checklist. The Legendary tier plus five live variants makes this family a long-term project — the missing view will tell you exactly which finish still needs to drop.
