The John Wick Sprite is a Mythic intel machine: for a few seconds after you knock or eliminate an opponent, it reveals nearby enemies to you and your entire squad. In squad fights that snowballs — one knock becomes wallhack-grade information for the follow-up push, which is exactly the fantasy a John Wick collab should deliver.
It went live with the v41.30 update on July 30, 2026 as the first Sprite distributed through Reload, Fortnite's respawn-focused mode, via the new Reload Portable Extractor gadget.
How to Get the John Wick Sprite (Reload Only)
You cannot find the John Wick Sprite in Battle Royale. It must be claimed in a Reload match first, in one of three ways: pull it from normal or Sprite chests, eliminate a player who is already carrying it, or win the match outright. Once claimed there, it unlocks for your locker and you are free to equip it in Battle Royale like any other Sprite.
One heads-up from Epic's notes: the John Wick Sprite stays at whatever level you find it — Level 1 fresh from a chest, or higher if a previous carrier already leveled it up before you took it from them. Right now it is the only Sprite that can be equipped during a Reload match, and any other Sprites from your lobby loadout will not appear there.
Is the John Wick Sprite Worth Chasing?
Yes — twice over. Competitively, squad-wide reveals on every knock is one of the strongest information perks in the Sprite system. For collectors, it is the only Sprite locked behind Reload, so your 109-variant collection cannot hit 100% without at least one Reload session. Stealing a leveled one off a carrier is the connoisseur's route.
Track Your John Wick Sprite
Once you have extracted your John Wick Sprite from Reload, mark it on the Sprite Checklist and see how your Mythic shelf — Grim Reaper, Zero Point, Burnt Peanut, Batman, Pollo, Vini Jr., Ironmouse, and John Wick — is shaping up. The Sprite Checklist keeps every variant you own and every one you are missing in a single view.
