The Air Sprite is a Rare companion that went live in the v41.20 update on July 16, 2026, after a long stretch in the upcoming pool. Its ability is pure mobility: it increases your sprinting speed and jump height while equipped, which quietly improves every rotation, every escape, and every aggressive push you make. Veterans may remember Air Sprites as throwable wind items from Chapter 6 — this is the overhauled Chapter 7 version, reworked into the equippable companion system with levels, mastery, and extraction.
Because the buff is always-on rather than conditional, the Air Sprite is one of the easiest Sprites to get value from. You do not need to stand in water or open the right chest; you just move faster and jump higher, all match long. Summoning it from your collection costs 100 Sprite Dust, the standard Rare price.
How to Get the Air Sprite
The Air Sprite rolls from the same ecosystem as the rest of the pool: Sprite Chests (which guarantee a Sprite or a higher-rarity variant) plus regular chests and Rare Chests across the map. As a Rare, it should be one of the more common finds in the rotation; its special variants sit at 0.53% (Gold), 0.53% (Gummy), 0.43% (Galaxy) and 0.53% (Holofoil) — we will add the numbers to this page the moment they are listed.
Remember that finding one is only half the job: carry it to an Extraction Site, use a Portable Extractor, or win the match to bank it permanently. Only extracted Sprites join your collection.
All Air Sprite Variants
The Air Sprite launched with five collectable finishes on day one: Normal, Gold (3x bonus Sprite XP from eliminations), Gummy (+20% Sprite Dust on extraction), Galaxy (+30% ammo on pickup), and — unusually for a new Sprite — a live Holofoil, which gives your whole squad a 5% chance to find rare Sprites from containers. Gem, Cube, and Quack finishes exist in the data but are not obtainable yet.
That makes the Air Sprite family a five-row entry on your checklist today, and one of only a few Sprites whose Holofoil was available from the moment it released.
Is the Air Sprite Worth Using?
For movement-focused players, absolutely. Sprint speed and jump height compound with everything else you do — rotations get faster, off-spawn looting covers more ground, and third-party escapes become genuinely easier. It will not win a straight gunfight for you the way a combat Sprite might, but the constant uptime makes it a strong default for solos and a great pick for zone-race situations. Treat it as an early A-tier mobility pick until the meta settles.
Track Your Air Sprite Collection
With five finishes live at once, the Air Sprite adds a whole new column to your collection grid. Mark each version off on the Sprite Checklist as you extract it, and use the rarest-missing view to decide whether the Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, or Holofoil finish should be your next chase.
